Today ends the last week of my practicum/internship at the non-profit I worked at in South Los Angeles. It was a pretty great experience and the opportunity to work with at-risk and juveniles was pretty…interesting. Trying to use therapy to assist these kids in understanding their behaviors and link it to their emotional and cognitive side was tough. And all I could think of was this quote above. Like they just did as Rob D suggested so they can get a pass from me to their probation officer. LMAO. SMH. It was still a great experience though.
